Biography
Dr. Eugene Bernstein is the lead dentist and practice leader at Gentle Dental of NJ in Newark’s Ironbound neighborhood. With over 25 years of experience since graduating from NYU College of Dentistry, he has built a multi-specialty practice that brings general dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and implant dentistry together under one roof.
He completed advanced residency training at Bellevue and Tisch Hospitals through the NYU School of Medicine in 1999. His approach to dentistry centers on full-mouth health. Rather than addressing one problem at a time, Dr. Bernstein evaluates how your teeth, gums, bite, and jaw work together as a system. This perspective comes from decades of experience treating patients across the full spectrum of dental needs.
Dr. Bernstein has invested in advanced diagnostic technology at the practice, including 3D CBCT imaging, digital scanning, and modern sterilization systems. These tools improve accuracy and let him plan treatments with precision that makes the experience faster and more comfortable for patients.
