Missing teeth? Our team provides dental implant solutions to permanently restore your smile. We use modern techniques to ensure root canals are quick and comfortable, often no more uncomfortable than getting a filling. Don’t let tooth pain linger; our Newark endodontic specialist will get you relief fast.
Healthy gums are the foundation of a healthy smile. Rachelle Lovelle2023-04-03The greatest Dental experience ever! First let me say how they took me in last minute on the same day! The lady at the desk was super helpful. The doctor knew I was terrified of the needle and to get my tooth pulled but he let me take all the time I needed once in his chair and let me tell him when I was ready that was so nice! His assistant Gracia was so sweet and genuine she offered to hold my hand the entire way through! The doctor went slow with the needle I didn’t even feel a thing. Peaceful jazz was playing, both of them constantly asked was I alright and informed me about the next step and insisted that I’ll be alright and I’m doing a great job! I will never go anywhere else EVER! I see why their called Gentle Dental!
Frequently Asked Questions
What insurance plans do you accept, and do you offer payment plans?
We accept most major dental insurance plans. Our knowledgeable front desk team will help you maximize your benefits. For those without insurance, we offer flexible payment options and an in-house Gentle Dental Plan that provides discounted services for an affordable annual fee. We also accept major credit cards and can arrange payment plans for extensive treatments. So financial concerns never have to stand in the way of your oral health.
What can I expect on my first visit?
As a new patient, you’ll receive a thorough exam and a warm welcome from our team. On your first visit, we’ll review your dental history and any concerns, take any needed X-rays, and perform a comprehensive oral exam including an oral cancer screening and gum health evaluation. If time permits and you’re due, we often perform a cleaning on the first visit as well. Afterwards, the dentist will explain any findings, answer your questions, and together we’ll create a treatment plan to keep your smile healthy. We pride ourselves on patient education, so you will leave with a clear understanding of your oral health and next steps.
Do you offer appointments on weekends or evenings?
Yes, we know your schedule can be busy. Gentle Dental of NJ offers extended hours on select weekdays (open as late as 8:00 PM) and we are open on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Our goal is to be available when it’s convenient for you. If you need an early morning or late evening time, just let us know. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule. And for any dental emergencies outside regular hours, our phone line will connect you to a dentist on call for guidance.
How do I know if I need a dental implant or a bridge for a missing tooth?
Choosing between a dental implant and a bridge depends on your specific situation. In general, a dental implant is often the preferred solution for a single missing tooth. It’s a permanent replacement that looks and functions like a natural tooth, and it doesn’t require altering any neighboring teeth. A dental bridge, on the other hand, might be recommended if the teeth adjacent to the gap need crowns or if you prefer not to undergo implant surgery. During your consultation, our team will examine your mouth and review your X-rays. We’ll explain the pros and cons of each option as they relate to your health, timeline, and budget. Rest assured, we’ll help you make the best choice to restore your smile.
