Endodontics
An endodontist is a dentist that specializes in root canal treatment.
Root canal therapy is performed when the tooth’s root becomes
infected due to cavities or cracks, causing discomfort and swelling
in the area. The procedure involves cleaning out the root canal to
prevent further damage and save your tooth.

Bachelor of Science/ Biology, University of San Francisco, San Francisco CA 1998. Graduated with honors, Dr. Rozenblum was on the deans list of academic achievements from 1995-1998. In 2005 Dr. Mariya Rozemblum was the recipient of a full scholarship for post graduate dental education from the GME fund and also received NIH scholarship award as a part of NIDCR endodontic stem cell research and development program. In 2003 she received a Research Achievement Award in Endodontics from The American Association of Endodontics and the Divisional Excellence in Endodontics from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral and Surgery Alumni Association. In 2001-2002 she was a research assistant, Columbia University SDOS (Dept. of Endodon- tics). Topic: “Aects of various solvents on Endodontic sealers” and from 2000-2001 on the Topic: “Assessment of Incipient and Frankcarious lesions using Digora Digital Radiography System.” Publications: In 2003, Jarvie Journal of William Jarvie Dental Research Society, Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery.
